hello, jess!
Jessica Alba opened eyes at Paris Fashion Week; how gorgeous is she? I can't decide which look I love more.

zac posen for target
I am infatuated with anything Zac Posen puts down the runway, so when I heard he was doing a line for Target, I was ecstatic! The line is hitting stores nationwide April 25, but NYCers are getting an exclusive chance to shop next week.
For those of us here on the west coast (and everywhere else, for that matter), we'll just have to sit & wait on the edge of our seats 'til the line's debut!

meow
Every year, as soon as the weather starts turning warm, the first thing on my wish list is new sunglasses. Some girls love shoes, some love bags...me? I LOVE sunglasses. Besides adding some instant glamor to any outfit, they are the most functional of all accessories (i.e. my eye doctor highly recommends them). Which is why I don't mind investing a little extra for the perfect pair. Give me a dress and some sunnies and I am good-to-go. Who needs shoes, anyway?
After scoping a photo of Jessica Biel wearing DvF's cat-eye sunglasses, I am on the search for a pair of my own.

sf style
According to Refinery 29, white is the new neutral. How perfect is this white trench (and from old navy, at that!)? I can imagine picking up some lunch at Hog Island Oyster Co on the San Francisco waterfront on a breezy spring day in this, feeling far from neutral.

hello, sunshine!

A heat wave has hit the Bay Area, and spring fever is in full effect! This weekend is one of the few in the next few months that I have to spend as I please, so after a long week of work I'll be soaking up the sun as much as possible!
TO DO: a long hike with my love, birthday celebrations, and a little shopping [of course].

zara: spring/summer 2010
If you live near a ZARA, you can understand my obsession. Every time I cross the threshold, spending hours and loads of money is not hard to do. I'm in love with these photos from their spring/summer 2010 collection - somehow the model looks sweltering hot and super glam all at the same time! To do: pick up some of this stuff for my next African safari.

fashion week from afar
The great thing about social media blowing up is instant gratification - news spreads like wildfire. But, being a lover of fashion, it hurts a bit to sit idly watching tweets come through minute-by-minute from the bloggers, press, and other fashion week-goers oohing and aahing at the fabulous new looks as they come strutting down the runway during each show. Someday I hope to enter the impenetrable tents, but until then I must admire from afar!
Fall 2010 fashion week was a dream to me - ask any of my closest friends and they will tell you my closet is very, um, neutral. I love textures and will throw a bright top or dress in here or there, but most (90%) of my clothes are black, white, or somewhere in between. Fashion week was like my closet, amplified to the millionth degree! Nudes, blacks, whites, grays, and the most gorgeous texture everywhere you turn.
It was hard to choose favorites, but if I must...
