drumroll, please!
After three months of work, a lot more money than we planned to spend, and far too much stress [yes, our original contractor walked off the job, unannounced!], my boyfriend and I officially have lived in our first house for one week - exactly! We are still digging through boxes to find our necessities, but the place is becoming more and more homey as the days [and even moments] pass. We've made so many changes to all parts of the house, but the kitchen was our major project. We stripped it down to nothing, and created a space that we love. Although it looks nothing like our inspiration, it is absolutely our happy place.

In attempting to decorate our new office, my boyfriend and I want to make it a place to be inspired, to create, and to relax [without being too feminine, of course - a concern of his!]. Our first purchase, long ago, was this print, to remind us to keep it simple.

2010 snapshots
Happy 2011!
2010 was a great year. I don't think I've ever been happier personally or professionally, and I credit the amazing people I am surrounded by, the positive vibes I have been attempting to throw out into the universe, & a little side of luck. Life is not perfect [as it never will be, and as nothing ever is!], but I am pretty darn content. A good place to be, if you ask me. Cheers to enjoying the simple things in 2011!
